The Seeds Of Success Start With Clarity

A Message from Noelyne...

When you are clear about what you want in life then you will be successful.  Clarity is the starting point.  Get clear about what you want to do, be or have, believe that you can achieve it with all your heart and then take action to move you towards achievement of your goal.

Without clarity you can still take action however, it will not be focused on what you want so you could end up anywhere.  You could end up where you definitely do not want to be. For example, if you have no idea what you want to be or do when you leave school you will probably end up in a job doing something you didn't necessarily want to do.  You end up drifting with no real purpose.  Some of you may be thinking, where's the problem there?  And for many people that is perfectly acceptable.

However, if you have a desire to make a difference and to have the best life possible it start with getting clear about who you are, who you want to be, what you want to do and have.  When you follow your heart your life becomes delicious.  Life is much easier when you are happy in your own skin and what you choose to be and do.  When you are happy you are naturally attractive and so attract more of what you want. It's that simple!

And always, always be grateful for who you are and where you are and what you have, no matter what happens develop and attitude of gratitude.

Enjoy the process of life

Feeling Low and Sad

A Message from Noelyne...

Do you have days when you feel low and sad? It can be triggered by the smallest of things and you just don't understand what causes you to feel that way.  Someone might say something to you in a way that normally you would just brush it off or not even notice.  Then another day it just sparks a downward spiral of unhappiness, feeling low and sad.  Turning up the corners of your mouth to smile is an effort and you just don't want to do it.

There can be a number of reasons for feeling low and sad.  Importantly it's quite normal to feel like this occassionally.  One day of feeling low and sad does not mean that you have depression.  Although many people describe themselves as being depressed when in fact they are just feeling a little low.

What causes you to feel low and sad?
Stress, hormones, lifestyle, relationship problems, tiredness, lack of nutrition, too much alcohol, withdrawal symptoms.  There's many reasons that trigger the feeling.  You are the best judge of what causes the feeling.

You are also the best judge of what to do to overcome feeling low and sad.  Sometimes it's good to just feel the feeling.  Let it happen and know that you will feel better when you are ready.  If there's something bothering you then it helps to talk things through too.

If you find yourself feeling low and sad regularly it can become a problem and affect the quality of your life.  You may need additional support such as a Counsellor or Life Coach to identify what it is that is keeping you stuck and then move you forward.  Making a decision to contact a professional is often a daunting prospect however, you will feel somuch better once you make that move.  Taking action is very therapeutic.

If you prefer to work things through in the privacy of your own home then have a look at my on-line coaching programme designed to show you how to overcome life's challenges including feeling low and sad.  It comes with a 100% Satisfaction guarantee.  For more details Click Here

Afraid to Commit in case you Fail?

A Message from Noelyne...

One of the major limiting factors that I see in many of the people who I work with in one to one coaching and workshops is their fear of committing to their goals.  A fear of committing to the action that is necessary to ensure theyu achieve their goals.  Why do people do this?  Mainly it's due to a fear of failure.  You are afraid to commit  in case you fail so you don't really commit as you can't face the prospect of failing.

Most people I meet live in their comfort zone most of the time, doing things they know how to do easily.  The problem with this is that you don't reach your true potential.  You don't stretch yourself so you don't develop.  You need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable.  Make it a part of your daily list of things to do.

Learn to trust yourself and know that you can handle whatever happens.

Is your past holding you back?

A Message from Noelyne...

Do you continue to punish yourself for things which have happened in the past?  Do you carry bad feelings around with you like painful baggage for years and years?  Do you deny yourself the life you truly deserve because you believe you don’t deserve good things?

Many of the people I work with in my coaching practice come to me because they want to be more successful, more confident and get what they want in life.  And I can guarantee that for each one it will be something from their past that is holding them back.  Is your past holding you back?

To be successful you need to let go of your past and start with a clean slate for today, in order to have a fantastic new future.   It’s just like planting a new garden – you have to remove some of the debris, stones and old weeds. 'Getting rid of the old to make room for the new'.  Then start planting seeds.

In my achiever's club I have lessons dedicate to letting go of the past.  Part of this is forgiving yourself and others for past events.  Doing this will make it much easier to move forward into the future. It helps you to build a solid new foundation to create the life you truly want to live.    It's not easy to create the wonderful new life you desire if you are holding on to past experiences and resentment for what has happened.  When you focus on painful relationships, broken agreements and unresolved issues you are reliving those feelings and allowing the past to exist now.

If you don’t clean up your past and make peace with it you cause emotions such as hopelessness, resentment, sarcasm, cynicism, loneliness, or emptiness.

Are you so attached to what happened in the past that you really don’t want to let it go?  Perhaps it is because you have longed for some resolution, an apology or a different outcome.  And so, instead of letting go and moving on, you choose to hold onto your pain, your grudges as you don’t want to give up on what you believe you are owed.  The problem with this approach is that if you need someone else to do something before you have closure, there is a good chance that you will never get it!  The other person probably moved on long ago and is creating a new life for themselves.  By holding on to past resentment you are continuing to allow the other person to have power over you.  The only person who suffers is you.  Are you giving this person the power to rule your life?

Holding onto your past is like collecting news paper articles from 10, 20,30, years ago and carrying them with you wherever you go.  Would you choose to read these newspapers every day going over each upsetting story in your head over and over again? Would you carry these papers with you from job to job, relationship to relationship? Would you repeat the stories in these newspapers to your friends over and over again?
If you would like to know more about letting go of your past why not check out my Achievers club here

Is your lack of success due to the people in your life?

A Message from Noelyne...

Do you have someone in your life who is unable to make up their mind what to do?  Does your partner decide to do something and then changes their mind at the last minute? Do you end up feeling frustrated and not doing what you want to do?  Are you so eager to please your partner or family and so want to spend time with them that you tolerate their behaviour only to end up disappointed and irritated with yourself?

The people in your life have a massive impact on the quality of your life.  Their thoughts, beliefs and behaviour affect your emotional state, the decisions you make and the results you get in life.  If you have very supportive, encouraging people who want the best for you and accept you for who you are without judgement, it can be very empowering for you.  The opposite can be very destructive.

If you are not getting the results that you want is it due to allowing yourself to be influenced by the people in your life?  Be honest with yourself as anything less than honesty is not honesty is it?  The only person you deceive is yourself.  Take a good look at your relationships with your nearest and dearest.  Are you doing what you want to do or what they think you should be doing?  How happy are you with your life?

The next tiem your partner or family cannot make up their minds what to do, take a few minutes to decide what you would like to do and then do it.  Don't allow other people to reduce the quality of your life.

Enjoy the process of life,

Noelyne Jones

How to Get What You Want

A Message from Noelyne....

Many personal development professionals and achievement coaches will encourage you to set goals now as you start 2011, focus on what you really want and chart a course to get you there.  And for many people this approach works particularly if you have something specific that you want to achieve  like getting to your ideal weight or increasing the amount of exercise you take or de-cluttering the house.  It's good to have daily goals that you want to achieve.  I create a daily list of things to do and absolutely love crossing them off as I achieve them.  A huge sense of satisfaction.

When it comes to achieving bigger things in your life such as moving house, changing jobs, getting a promotion, finding a life partner, increasing your income and achieving the life of your dreams I encourage you to take a more adventurous approach.  It's much easier to do and great fun.  There's no stress involved as there's no such thing as failure with this approach, just taking advantage of every opportunity in tghe knowledge that you are moving to where you want to be.

1.  Give thanks that life is... just as it is and that it's been... just as it's been. Because of life and your experiences you are now ready.

2. Define what you want in terms of the end result.  Don't worry about how you will achieve it. Know that what you want is already.  Focus on the certainty of it happening, imagine it in all it's finest detail.

3. Let the universe show you the way via your impulses and instincts that appear as you take inspired action. Don't worry that your first steps seem silly or futile. And if you don't know what to do, do anything! Go! Get busy! Do not insist on intermediary successes, only upon the end result.

2011 is going to be your year (it already is),

Overcoming Fear of Interviews

A Message from Noelyne....

I'm doing a series of blogs on interview tips for teenagers although they are just as relevant for anyone facing an interview.  One of the main stumbling blocks for success at interview is a fear of interviews.  So I'm going to focus on overcoming fear of interviews.

What is the fear?  Where does it come from?  What triggers it?
This will of course vary from person to person as each person is unique and will handle situations in their own way. And for that reason at this stage I want you to stop comparing yourself to others.  Focus on what it is that you are afraid of and where does it come from.  Is it based on experience?  Or is it other peoples fear that you have taken on board?  If you have never had an interview before how do you know it's time to be afraid?  Get curious about what the fear is telling you.

It probably means that you are not yet ready for the interview and that you still have some research, preparation or practice to do.  You may need to get a personal coach to help you with overcoming your fear of interviews.  Only you can tell what it is that you need.  So take action now well before the interview to put yourself in the best possible state on the actual day.

Some nerves and butterflies in the tummy on the day of the interview are quite normal and you can get a natural remedy such as Rescue Remedy to help steady your nerves.

So the key things with overcoming your fear of interviews is to get curious about the fear and than work out what you need to do to reduce the fear.

Enjoy the process of life,

Do you love your job?

A Message from Noelyne...

Do you wake up every morning and look forward to going to work?  Do you get out of bed full of energy and enthusiasm?  Or do you hate the thought of what might lay ahead of you?  Do you feel miserable at the thought of going into your workplace?  You start to feel stressed jhust by thinkiing about it?  You might even crawl back under the duvet and get someone to call in sick because you just don't feel up to it?

When you love your job life is so much easier.  Trust me I know.  I used to dread going into work until I was given the opportunity to perform a role that I absolutely loved.  From  the moment I started training people in the workplace to learn a new skill I new I had found what I had been searching for.  I started looking forward to each new day with vigour and enthusiasm.  Since then my main purpose in work life has been to help others improve their performance or learn a new task for their job role and twelve years later I still absolutely love helping people to imrpove.

I've just done a coaching session on interviewing skills with my 17 year old stepson who has an interview later this week and I get such a buzz out of sharing my knowledge and watching his confidence grow.  It's amazing.

Do you love what you do?  If not I can show you a way to find out your purpose in life and to create a life of your dreams.  I'm living the life of my dreams and you can too.  Check out information on the Personal Achievers club which will show you a way to achieve what you want in life.  Click here for more information.

The Right Attitudes to Achieve Your Goals

The Right Attitudes to Achieve Your Goals

If you want to be truly successful in how you achieve your goals, then you need to harbor the right
habits and attitudes that will keep you on track. There are a number of good traits you have to keep for
life to discover that more opportunities and good things are bound to happen, if only you allow these.
Here are some of the features that great people had.

Being Industrious

Hard work always pays off. There is no single famous individual person in history who achieved several
goals in life without working it off. Being industrious means working harder than anyone else, studying
more than anyone else and even suffering more than anyone else. You have to understand the importance of
delayed gratification as you work towards your ultimate goal. To begin hard work, you can begin by fixing
your schedule, writing down tasks and functions of the day and finding the right people and resources that
can assist you. Keep in mind that you have to be as independent as possible to finish more in the long term.

Discipline and Consistency

Discipline is what separates the leaders from the followers. If you truly want to make changes in your
life, you have to understand doing things even if you do not want to at times, and maintaining excellent
quality and optimum performance each time. Being consistent is intertwined with patience, wherein you
continue performing well, regardless of the situations and hindrances, to render the results you want in the end.

Discipline and consistency are also interrelated, in the sense that discipline breeds consistency. If
you continue practicing good habits and sticking to the functions that lead to your main goal, you will
find it easier to do over time. You will change as an entire person and experience the opportunities that
come with being dedicated.

Resilience

Problems are a part of every man's life, but it is the resilient person who always prevails and achieves
their goals. You need to learn from your past mistakes and convert these into more productive actions the
next time. Learn to pick yourself up after each fall and put in double effort to become better. Some of the
most successful people, as well as those who truly left a mark in history are known to have faced big difficulties
and resentment before they let others understand their own way of doing things.

Optimism

You need to stay positive about your situation, regardless of the problems that you face. It is vital that you
stay optimistic and always believe that you will get to your goal, no matter what. If you tell yourself that you
will reach it sooner, chances are you will. It might help to believe in the powers of the Universal Law of Attraction
which draws opportunities toward you just the way you intend to, and in the right intensity as you desired.

Patience

Some goals are very big and will take time to accomplish. Do not allow yourself to think that some goals are just
too huge to be possible. Be specific and set goals that are attainable to your current situation and start working
to achieve these. You can break it down into smaller tasks that are much easier to do within the given timeframe
that you have.

Bad Traits to Avoid if you want to achieve your goals

A Message from Noelyne...

Bad Traits to Avoid If You Want to Achieve Your Goals

Many people stay unsuccessful or have alternating experiences with success and failure, simply because they do not know that they behave in an unresourceful way.  Poor behaviour is often as a result of bad habits and personal characteristics that ultimately lead to poor results and not getting what you want in life. Some of the things you've been so used to doing for several years may be the main reason why you struggle.  If no-one has pointed out the consequences of your behaviout then you are probably not aware of the effect you are having on your life and that of others.

The Basic Bad Behaviours/Habits or Traits

No 1.
Laziness is one of the negative habits that can be associated with someone who is unsuccessful.  Unfortunately, lazy people usually do not want to get rid of the problem. However, If you want to achieve your goals, you need to understand the value of hard work and perseverance. Some of the greatest people in the world are known to work more and harder than those who did not leave a mark. Successful people tend to work longer hours, sleep less, eat less, wake up earlier and take more risks than anybody else. It takes
sacrifice to reach your goals. The most important thing to know is that everything you have ever wanted is just outside your comfort zone. If you stay in your comfort zone you will not learn new skills, you won't grow and develop.  Staying in your comfort zone means you will stay safe and comfortable.  This may be quite acceptable for many people.  However, if you want to develop your potential and achieve your goals then you need to get into your stretch zone regularly.

No2.
Fear is another bad trait that people have. They fear things and events so much that they stop themselves from even trying. Some people are even afraid of success subconsciously in a way that they refuse any opportunity that can make them great. Some people do not realize that they just do not or cannot handle the bigger responsibilities that achieved goals come with.

Personal Bad Traits

Selfishness is a bad trait that you need to get rid of to achieve your goals. There are individuals who do not want to get help from others because they do not want to share their expected success.  This also suggests that a selfish person believes there is a limit to the amount of wealth, success and abundance in the Universe.

Being Negative

Pessimism is a trait of losers. In most cases, pessimism is tied up to fear. Seeing things in a negative light will lead to poor results too, most of the time. If you start your day negatively, everything else will already seem bad, so you will focus more on the little things that do not matter and let them bother you, instead of keeping your mind on your goals.  Choose to start the day in a positive mindset.  Take 10 minutes each morning to meditate and then imagine yourself having a really fantastic day.  See yourself enjoying being successful at everything you need to do.

Seeking Help

The first step to treating bad habits to achieve your goals is recognise that you have them and then choose to make changes.  First of all start to believe that you are a confident, capable and strong individual. You are responsible for whatever happens in your life. Although problems are bound to happen, you know that you always have the ability to stay successful in life as you choose. Minor setbacks are supposed to be a means for you to become better and stronger, so turn them into learning opportunities rather than pessimistically thinking that the world is against you.

Here's an activity to get rid of bad traits.

Write a list of all the things that you consider to be bad traits about yourself.

Next, put the opposite trait for each.

The opposite traits are now your new characteristics to be adopted. Start practicing one good trait per
week or month, then add another one for consistency.

Over time, you will realize that success follows you because of your positive aura.  You will become more attractive to people and success.

Enjoy the process,

Noelyne Jones

How to Overcome Anything Toolkit - Passion

A Message from Noelyne..

Do you absolutely love what you do?  Are you passionate about it?  In my experience the majority of people end up with a lifestyle that they didn't really want.  Most people conform to what other people in their life believe to be the best thing for them, such as your parent's, teachers, friends.

I spent 25 years of my life working for an employer that was safe, gave me a reasonable salary and a good pension.  The problem was I was never really totally happy.  It improved once I became a trainer yet there was still something missing.  You see for a long time I had wanted to work for myself and have my own business yet I didn't really believe that I could and didn't reallty know how and actually was pretty scared about leaving that secure job.  I'm now into my 4th year of running my own business and I wish to goodness that I had done it sooner.  I am soooo happy!  I am passionate about Personal Development and sharing my knowledge with you and helping you to grow.

So what is it that you yearn to do?  What sort of a lifestyle would you like?  What are you passionate about?

If you don't know then you may want to take a look at my Personal Achiever's on-line Membership club where I help you unravel the perfect lifestyle for you and help you to get it.  I help you to find your passion in life.

Best wishes,
