A Message from Noelyne...
When you are clear about what you want in life then you will be successful. Clarity is the starting point. Get clear about what you want to do, be or have, believe that you can achieve it with all your heart and then take action to move you towards achievement of your goal.
Without clarity you can still take action however, it will not be focused on what you want so you could end up anywhere. You could end up where you definitely do not want to be. For example, if you have no idea what you want to be or do when you leave school you will probably end up in a job doing something you didn't necessarily want to do. You end up drifting with no real purpose. Some of you may be thinking, where's the problem there? And for many people that is perfectly acceptable.
However, if you have a desire to make a difference and to have the best life possible it start with getting clear about who you are, who you want to be, what you want to do and have. When you follow your heart your life becomes delicious. Life is much easier when you are happy in your own skin and what you choose to be and do. When you are happy you are naturally attractive and so attract more of what you want. It's that simple!
And always, always be grateful for who you are and where you are and what you have, no matter what happens develop and attitude of gratitude.
Enjoy the process of life

Tired of not feeling content with your life?
A Message from Noelyne....
Are you happy with your life? Do you live happily no matter what happens? No matter what you have or haven't got?
Or do you live wishing things were different of better? Do you live your life feeling unsettled and anxious because things aren't quite how you want them to be?
Do you wish your house was bigger or in a different location? Do you wish you could give up work or go part time? Are you unhappy with your health and energy levels?
If you are unhappy or unsettled with what you have now then it's highly likely that you will still be unhappy and unsettled when you get what you think will make you happy and settled.
Learn to be happy and settled with who and where you are now. Don't put off being happy until a future date. If you do then it will stay there i.e in the future.
Enjoy the process of life,

The past does not have to equal the future
A Message from Noelyne...
Is your past holding you back? Do you blame your past experiences for your lack of success? Do you say things like 'I would have been so successful if I had had a better childhood' or 'If only my parents had been more outgoing and confident'. Do you blame a relationship that you have or had for your current situation? Do you still feel hurt and angry because of the way someone treated you?
There are many experiences and situations in your past that you can blame for your lack of success, if you choose to. The problem with blame and focusing on the bad experiences is that you are re-living those experiences now. You are allowing past experiences to continue to affect you in the here and now, which in turn holds you back from achieving better experiences and success. Being aware of this means that you can choose to change your thoughts. It's not easy to begin with as you will catch your mind wandering back to the past. You need to discipline your mind to think good thoughts, positive thoughts, thoughts of what you want to achieve.
So do you see how the past does not have to equal the future? Stop focusing on the bad experiences of the past and start thinking about what you want instead. All the wonderful things that you want to happen. Don't worry about how you will achieve them. You just need to start thinking about what you want.
The past is exactly that - the past. It's over and done with. You are unable to change what actually happened however, you can change the way you feel about what happened so that you allow yourself to be happy now. Being happy in the moment means you will attract more happiness for the future. Make a list of the things you are grateful for right now. No matter how small or insignificant they seem, just list or say out loud. I am grateful for......
The more you do this the more you will start to leave the past behind. Fill your mind with positive, happy thoughts so that there's no room for dwelling on things that make you sad or hurt or angry.
Remember the past does not have to equal the future. The choice is yours.

How to feel satisfied
A Message from Noelyne...
Do you always feel as though there is more to life? Do you get to where you want to be and then immediately start looking for something else? Are you ever satified with the results that you get? Ore do you constantly drive yourself forward in a never ending pursuit of happiness and satisfaction with your life?
Here's a video that goes some way to explaining why the above happens and what you can do about it.
Once you become aware of the situation you can make changes. What do you need to do to feel satisfied with who you are? Who can you help today? What can you do to serve others? When was the last time that you did something to help another person, without expecting something in return? When did you last give your time freely, without expectation? This is where true pleasure comes from.

How much joy and happiness do you have in your life?
A Message from Noelyne...
Do you feel happy when you do the things that you do in your life? Stop and think about it. If you could do whatever you wanted, would you be doing what you are doing?
What would you choose to do with your life? How would your life change? If you would not continue to do what you are currently doing then why are you doing it?
Imagine the sort of life that you would really like in all it's glorious detail.
Make a list of the things that you do that do not bring you joy and happiness and then make some changes. Take action to stop doing these things, replace them with things that bring you joy.
Make this year the year that you choose to do things that only bring you joy. Whatever you do next make sure you do it because of the joy that it brings you.
Enjoy the process of life,

What do you do to stay happy?
A Message from Noelyne...
In Winter when daylight hours are short and the nights long it's often easy to get dispirited and low. Particularly if the weather is cold, wet, and dreary. This is a challenge people in the UK have to face every year from November througfh until early March when daylight hours are much longer even if it is often still cold.
So what do you do to stay happy and healthy? I'd love to find out your tips.
I enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible despite the weather. Have just been for lovely walk along the river and was fortunate to see heron's, red kites and other birds. We also saw a fly past in a diamond formation of fighter aircraft.
So what do you enjoy doing to keep your spirits up? How do you stay happy?

How not to be Happy now
A Message from Noelyne...
If you don't want to be happy now the easiest thing to do is to tell your self that you will be happy when something happens in the future. For example, you will be happy when you get a new car or change your job or find a partner or move house or get more money. Have you heard yourself saying things like "I'll be happy when I've paid the mortgage off or when I've decorated the house or when I finish work or when the children have finished their exams or once the housework is done. I'm sure you have got the idea by now...
Of course, by saying that you will be happy when something happens you are actually putting off being happy now. You are saying that you will be happy in the future. Where is the future? It's always in the future and is never now. There is only now so give yourself a break and no matter what is or isn't happening for you right now, take a moment to be happy with who you are and what you have right now.
Then start to do that more and more each day, regardless of all the things that you'd still like to be, do and have. I've learned thatwhen you get to where you want to be there always something else that you want to do.
Be happy and enjoy the process of life, make it magical,

What pushes you over your limit?
Message from Noelyne...
I've been blogging about managing or not managing stress for the last few days mainly because since coming back from holiday I have had additional unexpected challenges to overcome. I've been managing my normal business activities, completing design work on a training contract which has been a full time job, helping my partner and his two teenage boys to move in with me and getting used to having three men in my life and then the unexpected trashing of a house that I rent out and managing the repairs etc.I'm getting there slowly but surely, thankfully although there's still a number of loose ends to tie up. I really don't like loose ends and get quite frustrated when I am unable to finish something, particularly if it's out of my control. On discovering that some of the paperwork that I need to make a claim is missing I burst into tears. This was my signal to hold my hands up and say Help! I have my limits and this one small thing was enough to push me over the limit. In normal circumstances I would have handled missing paperwork quite calmly however, when it's on top of a lot of other things it can be enough to give you a mini breakdown. Have you felt like that before? It's all too much and you just don't want to continue?
It's at times like that you need to be able to turn to someone you trust for help and advice. I don't know about you however, I don't find asking for help very easy. It can make you feel as though you have failed or are inadequate. You feel as though you should be able to cope with everything and that people will think badly of you if you can't cope. Well the other day I turned to my partner and said 'I need help', 'I am not coping with everything'. A man does not like to see his woman in distress and he immediately came to my rescue and took responsibility for a couple of the tasks I had organised that day. A man likes to be able to help and solve problems as it makes him feel good and strong too. It was a huge relief for me and freed me up to concentrate on my key priority for that day, which was meeting my client's training contract requirements.
So don't be afraid to ask for help. It will make everyone a lot happier!

Why would you not want to let go of past pain?
A Message from Noelyne...
What makes you hold onto the past? For what purpose do you dwell on the things that didn't go well and past bad experiences? Are you afraid to let go of the past?
Dwelling on past memories that cause you to feel pain or sad is not a good thing to do. Every moment you spend thinking about the past bad experience you are allowing the pain of the past to live in the present. You are not allowing yourself to let go of past pain. You are choosing to stay stuck in the past and not allowing yourself to enjoy the present moment, which in turn means that you are holding yourself back from a fabulous future.
So for what purpose do you do it? What do you fear? How does holding on to the past serve you? In what way does recreating the pain of the past help you now?
Recalling past happy memories or looking at photos that bring happiness and joy is fantastic. It's important to have a treasure chest full of wonderful happy memories and experiences to recall when the going gets tough. For those low moments when things aren't going so well and the world gets you down. When you don't have happy memories it's not easy to be happy. You can end up living a very serious, unhappy or miserable life where you focus on things that are wrong or missing. Life becomes an uphill struggle and you forget how to laugh.
Life events can cause you to get into a negative state and become miserable without realising it. If you are lucky something happens to make you aware that you are not the bundle of joy you once were. For example, if someone asked you to recall a happy memory would you find thsi easy or would you struggle? If you struggle then it's time to start doing more activities that make you feel happy. You need to build up your reserves, make some deposits into the happy bank.
So for what purpose do you decide not to let go of the past? What do you fear? How does holding on to the past pain serve you? In what way does recreating the memories and pain of the past help you now?
Your experiences make you who you are. The mistakes you make are wonderful opportunities to learn and grow. Be thankful for those opportunities. Learn from them and let them go. You are unable to go back and change the past however the past does not have to equal the future.
Decide how you want to be, do and have and start to focus on what you want rather than what went wrong in the past. Remember that you get what you focus on.

How Content are You with Your Life?
A Message from Noelyne....
Today I'm feeling particularly happy and content with who I am and where I am in my journey through life. It hasn't always been like that as I am sure you are aware if you have been following my blogs. For many years I kept searching for happiness. I kept thinking that I'll be happy when I do this or achieve that, or have this or be different. The only trouble was that when I got there I still wasn't content and so would begin the cycle again of striving for the next item on my list in search of that complete feeling.
Along the way life has delivered a number of challenging situations that I have overcome. My own fears and self doubts, low confidence and self-esteem. I have learned a lot about myself as a result. The fantastic thing is that I now share my learning, knowledge and experience with my clients so that they can shorten the time it takes to get to that point of completeness. People come to me with their problems, fears, self doubts and hopes and aspirations and I show them the way forward. I show them how to be content and happy with who they are, where they are and where they are going in life. Together we put a plan in place, a blueprint that matches who they are. Once this is in place the rest just happens naturally and life becomes a dream.
I absolutely love what I do and have found a way to be happy and content. 10 easy steps to guarantee happiness
A Message from Noelyne....
Happy as You Want to Be
Almost everyone have heard the hit single 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' by Bobby McFerrin. The song has a very catchy way of conveying its message of being happy to everyone. Bobby Mcferiin's simple message surely made a lot of people by telling them not to worry.
Living a happy, resilient and optimistic life is wonderful, and is also good for your health. Being happy actually protects you from the stresses of life. Stress is linked to top causes of death such as heart disease, cancer and stroke.
One of the better things ever said is - 'The only thing in life that will always remain the same is change', and in your life you have the power to make the necessary changes if you want to. Even if you find yourselves in an unbearable situation you can always find solace in the knowledge that it too would change.
Social networks or relationships are essential to happiness. People are different, accept people for who or what they are, avoid clashes, constant arguments, and let go of all kinds of resentments. If arguments seem unavoidable still try and make an effort to understand the situation and you might just get along with well with
Happiness is actually found in everyone, increasing it is a way to make a life more wonderful and also more healthy.
To be happy is relatively easy, just decide to be a happy person. Abraham Lincoln observed that most people for most of the time can choose how happy or stressed, how relaxed or troubled, how bright or dull their outlook to be. The choice is simple really, choose to be happy.
There are several ways by which you can do this.
1. Being grateful is a great attitude. We have so much to be thankful for. Thank the taxi driver for bringing you home safely, thank the cook for a wonderful dinner and thank the guy who cleans your windows. Also thank the mailman for bringing you your mail, thank the policeman for making your place safe and thank God for being alive.
2. News is stressful. Get less of it. Some people just can't start their day without their daily dose of news. Try and think about it, 99% of the news you hear or read is bad news. Starting the day with bad news does not seem to be a sensible thing to do. Nor does ending the day with bad news so avoid TV and radio last thing at night. In fact avoid TV if you really want to be successful.
3. A religious connection is also recommended. Being part of a religious group with its singing, sacraments, chanting, prayers and meditations foster inner peace.
4. Manage your time. Time is invaluable and too important to waste. Time management can be viewed as a list of rules that involves scheduling, setting goals, planning, creating lists of things to do and prioritizing. These are the core basics of time management that should be understood to develop an efficient personal time management skill. These basic skills can be fine tuned further to include the finer points of each skill that can give you that extra reserve to make the results you desire.
5. Laugh and laugh heartily everyday. Heard a good joke? Tell your friends or family about it. As they also say -'Laughter is the best medicine'.
6. Express your feelings, affections, friendship and passion to people around you. They will most likely reciprocate your actions. Try not to keep pent up anger of frustrations, this is bad for your health. Instead find ways of expressing them in a way that will not cause more injury or hurt to anyone.
7. Working hard brings tremendous personal satisfaction. It gives a feeling of being competent in finishing our tasks. Accomplishments are necessary for all of us, they give us a sense of value. Work on things that you feel worthy of your time.
8. Learning is a joyful exercise. Try and learn something new everyday. Learning also makes us expand and broaden our horizons. And could also give us more opportunities in the future.
9. Run, jog, walk and do other things that your body was made for. Feel alive.
10. Avoid exposure to negative elements like loud noises, toxins and hazardous places.
These are the few simple things you can do everyday to be happy.
And always remember the quote from Abraham Lincoln, he says that, "Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be."
Enjoy the process of life!

How to Overcome Anything Toolkit - Negativity
A Message from Noelyne...
What do you think when you see the glass?
Half full or Half empty.
I read an article recently that actually talked about negativity as being a useful resource. Now I normally encourage clients to identify the negative thoughts as they are normally holding you back in some way. Once identified you are aware of them so can choose to do something about them and change them into positive ones.
However, this report talked in terms of thinking about the things that could go wrong as a way of preparing yourself in advance. It's about covering all eventualities. People who are from the glass half empty group have a natural tendency to assume the worst and in times of uncertainty it's very hard for them to believe that everything will be alright. Now this goes against everything that I believe in as I am a fan of the Law of Attraction approach to life. I believe that everything will be alright. Yet when I think about it I know of at least two friends who practice the negative thinking approach to life and seem to do very well. They have what they want and lead very comfortable happy lives or at least that's how they appear to me.
So maybe there is something in the pessimistic approach... I'll let you decide on that
Enjoy the process which ever approach you have,
Noelyne Jones
